1. It is really hard to find a Baskin Robbins with 31+ flavors. At least in New Jersey. Give back some space, Dunkin Donuts.
2. Why does Burger King offer a Single Stacker for $1 and then charges $2 for a double while eliminating an entire bun? Same story for the triple. Buy them individually, and if you don't want the bun, feed the birds. The grease and topping won't hurt them. They've already been eating all the fries that have dropped on the ground.
3. And I'll never understand why people that drive thru Jungle Safari think that wild animals really really REALLY want to eat cheese doodles. I certainly know what the monkeys want - windshield wiper fluid. Swear to God!!
Still waiting to get a bid on my The Dear Hunter Act 1 & 2 3X vinyl set on Ebay. Time to find more records to sell.

September 3 and I Bet There are a lot of Pregnant Women Busy on Labor Day
How many people do you know that were born in September & October? This, of course, is due to either: a) coldness brings closeness which brings docking maneuvers that lead to parenthood, or b) partying on New Year's that leads to parenthood. So Happy Labor Day to all you busy mothers-to-be. And on an unrelated note, I will be selling my vinyl copy of R.E.M.'s Around the Sun tonight. First bid is from Italy. Graci!!

September 2 and the weather still makes me think of going back to school
During the first week of September, the crispness in the air always reminds me of how it felt when school was just around the corner. You'd think about what you didn't do all summer, and make plans to pack all you could into those last few days. But then it hits you! That darn school assignment! Did you know anyone who work on that stuff in Week 1-9? I sure didn't. And on top of all that, it was time for your mother to drag you to the store for new school clothes. Geez, what happened to the stuff I just wore 2 months ago? In Brooklyn, it was off to John's Bargain Store or Floyd's or any nearby Army Navy store. I don't know what they'd call you now, but back in those days, if you had some extra girth, you'd have to try on the HUSKY size of dungarees (not jeans, they were dungarees, although that name makes it sound like the pants are made out of cow pies).
And while we're not on the subject, just sold a copy on Ebay of Smashing Pumpkins limited box of Teargarden by Kalaeidyscope Volume 1. Sweet.
I don't remember writing being this tiring.
